Hargeisa (Waddani party) Waddani Party's Presidential Candidate, Mr Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi Irro, met with ambassadors and diplomats from Denmark, UK, EU, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Czech Republic and France. The ambassadors and diplomats were part of the international election observer missions for the 2024 Somaliland elections, which took place peacefully across Somaliland on November 13th.
Discussions focused on how peaceful and orderly the elections took place and praise for the citizens' active involvement in the electoral process. Waddani Party leaders expressed their thanks to the international community's continued support to Somaliland’s democratic progress.
During the meeting, Mr Irro was accompanied by senior Waddani Party officials including Chairman Hirsi Ali Haji Hassan, Party Secretary General Khadar Hussein Abdi, politician Mohamed Osman Fadal and the candidate's senior assistant, Abdulkadir Salah Idle.
