The Waddani Party's Presidential Candidate for Somaliland Election 2024
, Mr Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro), and Party Chairman Hirsi Ali Haji Hassan, have led a roadtrip across regions of Somaliland.
Berbera and Sahil Region
Continuing on their roadtrip from Borama in Awdal Region, the Waddani Party delegation travelled on to Berbera in Sahil Region and onto Burao in Togdheer Region on the 2nd and 3rd leg of their public confidence trip to rally up supporters ahead of Somaliland’s anticipated 2024 elections.
Addressing a public rally in Berbera on Sept. 28, 2024, Waddani Party leaders promised cheaper electricity and improved quality of life. Party supporters in Berbera pledged vote for Waddani in the upcoming Somaliland election.
Burao and Togdheer Region
On Oct. 1, 2024, the delegation travelled to Burao, where they were welcomed by hundreds of flag-waving supporters in the outskirts of Burao, similar to major welcomes in Borama and Berbera.
Waddani Party Leaders called on the people of Burao to unite behind Waddani Party and pledged to improve the people’s quality of life.
Waddani Party Chairman Hersi Ali Haji Hassan said he was delighted to see the people of Burao united and in solidarity with the pro-change opposition Waddani Party. He encouraged the people to come and out for Waddani Party on election day.
During their stay in Togdheer Region, Party leaders held community meetings and visited Oodweyne District to engage local communities and supporters.
